Hi there! I’m Michele👋🏼, the visual designer behind nopalita based in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
With more than ten years in the graphic design industry and my hands in just about every type of project, I’ve found my strengths and passion lie in organizing information in a beautiful and effective way, in order to tell a story. It may be telling a brand’s story through website design, or cultivating an event’s vibe through printed stationery. Either way, I’m here to help brands and hosts engage and inspire their community, and ultimately form a connection through design.
Our services at nopalita are centered around Custom Squarespace Web Design and Event Stationery. The two may seem quite different, but they are really just two mediums for storytelling, aimed at two types of audiences. The end goal is to bring to life a story that engages and inspires the brand’s or host’s community. And after many years in the design industry, they have both come to be my favorite ways to storytell.
When I'm not ideating in my Moleskine or designing on my computer, my husband and I manage a collective of earth-friendly guest casitas on our New Mexico property, Casa Chicoma, along with our gardens, greenhouses, (future donkeys), and never-ending property projects! My design aesthetic is greatly inspired by our boldly minimal and textural high desert surroundings.
